Handling Advice
- Please remember to spin the tubes briefly prior to opening them to avoid any losses that might occur from material adhering to the cap or sides of the tube
-
Storage
- -20 °C
-
Storage Comment
- Store lyophilized/reconstituted at -20°C, once reconstituted make aliquots to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Please remember to spin the tubes briefly prior to opening them to avoid any losses that might occur from material adhering to the cap or sides of the tube.

-
- ACC Synthase 7 (ACS7) (1-Aminocyclopropane-1-Carboxylate Synthase 7 (ACS7))
-
Alternative Name
- 1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylate synthase 7 (ACC synthase 7)
-
Background
-
Background: 1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylate synthase (ACS) enzymes catalyze the conversion of S-adenosyl-L-methionine (SAM) into 1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylate (ACC), a direct precursor of ethylene. (EC:4.4.1.14). Synonymes: S-adenosyl-L-methionine methylthioadenosine-lyase 7.
Additional information: ACS7 protein levels are too low to allow detection in endogenous cell extract
