    Alternative Name

    gpr77,c5l2

    Background

GPR77 or C5L2 is a 337 amino acid protein that belongs to the G - protein coupled receptor 1 family, with a potential glycosylation site and one disulfide bond. Phagocytes and kidney tissue have shown differential regulation of C5L2 and the other C5a receptor, CD88. The two receptors for C5a appear to have distinct functional roles.
