The rat monoclonal antibody 1A1 recognizes an extracellular epitope of CD267 / TACI, a 32 kDa type III transmembrane protein expressed by B cells and possibly by some activated T cells.
Cross-Reactivity (Details)
Human
Purification
Purified antibody is conjugated with R-phycoerythrin (PE) under optimum conditions. Unconjugated antibody and free fluorochrome are removed by size-exclusion chromatography.

Application Notes
Flow cytometry: The reagent is designed for analysis of human blood cells using 10 μL reagent / 100 μL of whole blood or 106 cells in a suspension. The content of a vial (1 ml) is sufficient for 100 tests.
This product contains Sodium azide: a POISONOUS AND HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCE which should be handled by trained staff only.
Handling Advice
The purified antibody is conjugated with R-Phycoerythrin (PE) under optimum conditions. The conjugate is purified by size-exclusion chromatography and adjusted for direct use. No reconstitution is necessary.

Target
TACI (TNFRSF13B)
(Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor Superfamily, Member 13B (TNFRSF13B))
TNF receptor superfamily member 13B,CD267 / TACI (transmembrane activator calcium modulator and cyclophilin ligand interactor), a TNFR superfamily transmembrane protein, is expressed on B cells (predominantly on CD27+ memory cells), multiple myeloma cells and B cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia (B-CLL). Its triggering leads to activation of the transcription factors NFAT, AP1, and NF-kappa-B. It plays a crucial role in humoral immunity. Mutations in CD267 are associated with common variable immunodeficiency and IgA deficiency.,RYZN, TACI, CVID2, IGAD2, TNFRSF14B
