Specificity
- Clustered at the fourth leucocyte typing workshop to designation CD59(1). YTH53. Reacts with CD59 transfectants(3). It enhances antibody-mediated lysis by homologous complement(2) Reacts with GPI-linked antigen of 18-20kD size which is broadly expressed on human leucocytes and erythrocytes(2). Putative ligand for CD2.

Application Notes
-
Approved: Flo (1:1), IHC, IHC-Fr, IHC-P, WB
Usage: The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested. Flow Cytometry: Use 10 μL of the suggested working dilution to label 10^6 cells in 100 μL. We do not recommend using this antibody in lysed whole blood techniques due to inhibition of staining caused by CD59 expression on erythrocytes. -
