Background
-
RAB4 belongs to the large RAB family of low molecular weight GTPases that are involved in intracellular membrane trafficking. Rab4 is associated with early endosomes and is involved in their sorting and recycling. This protein also plays a role in regulating the recycling of receptors from endosomes to the plasma membrane.
