  • Purpose

    Mouse anti CD38 (1G8-G9-H11) [+Biotin] Antibody,

    Immunogen

Immunogen was recombinant Human CD38 that derived from E.coli. This antibody was produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with the immunogen. The IgG fraction of tissue culture supernatant was purified by Protein G/A affinity chromatography.

    Isotype

    IgG2b
  • Application Notes

    ELISA (recommended work dilution= 1:500,000)

    Restrictions

    For Research Use only
  • Reconstitution

Product is supplied as a powder obtained from lyophilization of purified antibody in citric acid solution. Reconstitute the antibody with diluent buffer to a final concentration of 1 mg/mL.

    ADP-ribosyl cyclase/cyclic ADP-ribose hydrolase 1

    Background

Target Description: CD38  (cluster of differentiation  38), also known as  cyclic ADP ribose hydrolase  is a  glycoprotein found on the surface of many immune cells (white blood cells), including  CD4+,  CD8+,  B lymphocytes  andnatural killer cells. CD38 also functions in  cell adhesion,  signal transduction  and  calcium signaling. CD38 is a multifunctional ectoenzyme that catalyzes the synthesis and hydrolysis of cyclic ADP-ribose (cADPR) from NAD+ to ADP-ribose. These reaction products are essential for the regulation of intracellular Ca2+. Diseases associated with CD38 include B Cell Prolymphocytic Leukemia and Richter's Syndrome. Among its related pathways are Hematopoietic cell lineage and Hematopoietic Stem Cell Differentiation Pathways and Lineage-specific Markers. GO annotations related to this gene include transferase activity and hydrolase activity, acting on glycosyl bonds. An important paralog of this gene is BST1.
