    Alternative Name

    RFLAT1

    Background

RFLAT-1 is a novel protein belonging to the TFIIIA-like zinc finger protein superfamily and binds to the A site of the RANTES (Regulated upon Activation, Normal T cell Expressed and Secreted) chemokine. RANTES is involved in the generation of inflammatory infiltrate and HIV entry into immune cells.
