-
Alternative Name
- ZBTB4
-
Background
-
Synonyms: Zinc finger and BTB domain containing protein 4, KAISO-like zinc finger protein 1, KAISO-L1, KIAA1538
Background: ZBTB4 is a KAISO like protein which binds to methylated DNA and regulates the transcription of methylated targets. Unlike KAISO, ZBTB4 is able to bind to single methylated CpG's. ZBTB4 acts as a transcriptional repressor protein and has been shown to be downregulated in the advanced stage of different tumours. Anti-ZBTB4 Antibody is ideal for research in Epigenetics, Gene Expression and Cancer.
