    Purpose

    Contactin Antibody

    Cross-Reactivity (Details)

A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with Contactin from Mouse, Human, and Rat based on 100 % homology with the immunizing sequence.

    Purification

Anti-Contactin Antibody was purified by Protein G chromatography.

    Sterility

    Sterile filtered

    Immunogen

Contactin Antibody was produced in mice by repeated immunizations with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the near n-terminal region of rat contactin.

    Isotype

    IgG1

  • Target

    Contactin 1 (CNTN1)

    Alternative Name

    Cntn1

    Background

    Synonyms: CNTN1. F3, Glycoprotein gp135, Neual cell surface protein F3, Contactin-1

Background: Contactin/F3, a cell adhesion molecule, is a glycosylphospatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored protein that is expressed in neurons and glia. It has been shown to interact with and enhance surface expression of sodium channels Nav1.2 and Nav1.9. Other studies suggest that contactin coimmunoprecipitates with Nav1.3.
