    CA2 (Carbonic Anhydrase II (CA2))

    Alternative Name

    Carbonic anhydrase 2

    Background

Synonyms: Carbonic anhydrase 2, Carbonate dehydratase II, Carbonic anhydrase C, Carbonic anhydrase II, CAC, CA-II, CA2.

Background: Essential for bone resorption and osteoclast differentiation. Reversible hydration of carbon dioxide. Can hydrate cyanamide to urea.
