Product Details

Specificity: Native and recombinant latent Transforming Growth Factor-β1 (TGF-β1). The antibody binds to the Latency Associated Protein (LAP), which is a part of the latent TGF-β1 complex. The antibody does not bind to latent TGF-β2 or -β3.

Cross-Reactivity (Details): The monoclonal antibody cross-reacts with latent TGF-β1 from non-human primates.

Purification: Purified from in vitro cultures by protein G affinity chromatography.

Immunogen: Recombinant latent TGF-beta1

Application Notes: For quantification of latent TGF-β1 in solution e.g. cell culture supernatants using ELISA. MT517 is recommended as detection mAb in combination with capture mAb MT593 .
