- The antibody is specific for mouse immunoglobulin lambda (λ) light chain. Lambda chains generally represent less than 10% of mouse Ig light chains. MAb JC5-1 does not detect the kappa (κ) light chain. The antibody does not cross-react (<0.1% cross-reactivity) with Ig from rat, goat, rabbit, cow, sheep, horse and human.
