Characteristics
- FOXP1 (forkhead box P1) is a transcriptional repressor and belongs to subfamily P of the forkhead box (FOX) transcription factor family. It plays an important role in the specification and differentiation of lung epithelium. Can act with CTBP1 to synergistically repress transcription but CTPBP1 is not essential. Essential transcriptional regulator of B-cell development (By similarity). FOXP1 antibody (mAb) (Clone 1G1) was raised in a Mouse host. It has been validated for use in Chromatin Immunoprecipitation, Supershift and Western blot, it has been shown to react with Mouse samples.
