Application
Clone
-
-
Purpose
- Anti-BSA [D1], Mouse IgG1, kappa
-
Specificity
- D1 has been shown to bind to BSA in panning experiments from phage display. Albumin is a secreted globular protein found in blood plasma and BSA has multiple biochemical applications including ELISAs and immunohistochemistry and is able to increase the stability of proteins and be used as a standard in Bradford assays.
-
Characteristics
-
Original Species of Ab: Mouse
Original Format of Ab: IgG1
-
Purification
- Protein A affinity purified
-
Immunogen
- D1 was prepared by isolating anti-p24 scFvs from a phage display library made from a mouse immunized with lysate from HIV-1 infected H9 cells.
-
Isotype
- IgG1 kappa
-
-
-
-
Application Notes
- D1 was selected for by panning where it reacted postiively on BSA. D1 can also be used as a control in IP and when working with native proteins when conducting studies within a BSA medium.
