Background
ZBTB40 (zinc-finger and BTB domain-containing protein 40) is a krueppel C2H2-type zinc finger protein and contains one BTB domain (POZ) domain and 12 C2H2-type zinc fingers. The function of ZBTB40 is uncharacterized, however due to its structural elements, it is considered to be a putative transcriptional regulator.
