- Purpose
- CDw78 iFluor 488 Antibody
- Characteristics
- The clone BAG-12G2, a mouse monoclonal antibody reacts with a cell surface carbohydrate determinant, known as CDw78. It is present on a subpopulation of immature and peripheral blood B cells, as well as B cell lines. CDw78 expression increases on activated B-cells in vitro. Tissue macrophages and epithelial cells also have some level of CDw78 expression, but no CDw78 expression was observed on T cells, NK cells, monocytes, granulocytes and myeloid tissues. CDw78 mAb recognizes a functionally important subpopulation of major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class II molecule.
