Background: Has cytotoxic activity towards cancer cells, but not normal cells. Inhibits the growth of the human leukemia cell line K562, the murine melanoma cell line B16 and the lung adenocarcinoma cell line A549 with IC(50) values of 88.1 nM, 63.4 nM and 359.3 nM respectively.
