  • Target

    RBBP7 (Retinoblastoma Binding Protein 7 (RBBP7))

    Alternative Name

    RbBP7

    Background

Background: Retinoblastoma-binding protein 7 (RbBP7) is a component of several complexes that regulate chromatin remodeling and assembly. RbBP7 is a subunit of the histone acetyltransferase (HAT) complex and of the core mSin3 histone deacetylase (HDAC) complex. RbBP7 is a histone binding subunit that functions to recruit chromatin assembly and remodeling factors to histones. RbBP7 also interacts with pRb and BRCA1 to modulate their activity.
