    Background
Background: Insulin-like growth factor 2 mRNA-binding protein 3 (IMP3) is an RNA-binding protein that act as a regulator of mRNA translation and stability. IMP3 binds to the 5'-UTR of the insulin-like growth factor 2 (IGF2) mRNAs and to sequences in the 3'-UTR of CD44 mRNA [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) O00425].
