    Alternative Name

    CAMSAP1L1

    Background

Background: CAMSAP1L1 (calmodulin-regulated spectrin-associated protein 1-like protein 1) is related to CAMSAP1. Both contain an N-terminal CH (calponin homology domain) which is an actin-binding domain found in cytoskeletal and signal transduction proteins. The CAMSAP1 family of proteins also contains a unique C-terminal CKK (DUF1781) domain which has been found to bind microtubules. The function of CAMSAP1L1 has not been characterized.
