  • Target

    ARHGAP1 (rho GTPase Activating Protein 1 (ARHGAP1))

    Alternative Name

    Cdc42GAP

    Background

Background: Cdc42 GTPase-activating protein (Cdc42GAP) is also known as p50RhoGAP and ARHGAP1. Cdc42GAP functions as a negative regulator of the Rho GTPase, Cdc42, by catalyzing the hydrolysis of GTP to GDP by Cdc42. Cdc42 activity is proposed to be involved in multiple cellular activities such as motility, survival, and genomic stability.
