    HERC4 (Hect Domain and RLD 4 (HERC4))

    Alternative Name

    HERC4

    Background

Background: HERC4 (HECT domain and RCC1-like domain-containing protein 4) belongs to the HERC family of ubiquitin ligases. In mice, HERC4 expression is ubiquitous with high levels in the testis. Male mice homozygous for HERC4 mutations exhibit reduced fertility and spermatozoa with reduced motility.
