    DOCK4 (Dedicator of Cytokinesis 4 (DOCK4))

    Alternative Name

    DOCK4

    Background

Background: DOCK4 (dedicator of cytokinesis 4) is a member of the CDM gene family and functions as a guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) for the Rac small GTPase. It has been found to play a role in regulating the development of dendrites and rac-dependent cell migration. As a regulator of Rac, DOCK4 participates in wnt signaling by acting as a scaffold and influencing beta-catenin stability.
