IHC: 1:1,000 - 1:5,000. Epitope retrieval with citrate buffer pH 6.0 is recommended for FFPE tissue sections.
IP: 2 - 5 μg/mg lysate
WB: Not recommended. ABIN7453493 has not performed satisfactorily when used for WB of USP3 in crude preparations (e.g. whole cell lysate). This antibody can be used for WB of enriched (e.g. immunoprecipitated) sources of USP3.

Background
- Background: Ubiquitin (Ub) is a highly conserved protein found ubiquitously in eukaryotic organisms. The conjugation of ubiquitin to proteins is an important means to regulate protein activity for many cellular processes by tagging them for degradation. Removal of Ub can rescue proteins from degradation. This is accomplished by the ubiquitin-specific processing protease (UBP) family of enzymes. Ubiquitin specific processing protease 3 (USP3) is a member of this family and is involved in the deubiquitination of histones H2A and H2B.
