Background
- Background: DTL/CDT2 is a component of the CUL4A-DDB1 E3 ubiquitinating complex and plays a role in downregulating CDT1, an essential component of pre-replication complexes (Pre-RC) that ensures the genome is replicated only once per cycle. As part of the CUL4A-DDB1 E3 ligase complex DTL/CDT2 is also involved in the regulation of other proteins involved in the G2/M cell cycle checkpoint.
