    DCAF6 (DDB1 and CUL4 Associated Factor 6 (DCAF6))

    Alternative Name

    NRIP

    Background

Background: Nuclear receptor interaction protein (NRIP) was isolated as a ligand-dependent coactivator of the androgen receptor (AR) and glucocorticoid receptor (GR). NRIP was found to enhance the promoter activity of the AR-driven PSA promoter. NRIP is a target gene for AR and Sp1, and complex formation between AR and NRIP protects AR protein from proteasome degradation.
