    Alternative Name

    NCOA62

    Background

Background: NCOA62 is an integral component of the splicesome that functions in pre-mRNA splicing. NCOA62 has also been demonstrated to function as a coactivator of the Notch transcription factor and the vitamin D nuclear receptor. Additionally, NCOA2 exhibits transcriptional repression activity and associates with the N-Cor and SMRT corepressors. Recent evidence suggests a role for NCOA62 in transcription elongation.
