- CD63 Unconjugated Antibody
-
Characteristics
- The clone H5C6, a mouse monoclonal antibody selectively binds to 53 kD lysosomal membrane protein with four transmembrane domains and three putative N-glycosylation sites known as CD63. It is widely expressed on activated platelets, monocytes, macrophages, endothelium, fibroblasts, and some smooth muscle cells. It plays roles in mediating cellular adhesion and motility. CD63 is also referred to in the literature as LIMP, gp55, melanomaassociated antigen ME491, Pltgp40, LAMP-3. Deficiency of this protein is associated with Hermansky-Pudlak syndrome.
