    Alternative Name

    Casp12

    Background

Rabbit Anti-Caspase 12 Antibody, Caspase 12 pseudogene 1, Casp12, Casp-12, CASP12P1,Casp12 (Caspase 12 (Gene/Pseudogene)) has no protease activity. It may reduce cytokine release in response to bacterial lipopolysaccharide during infections. Caspase 12 reduces activation of NF-kappa-B in response to TNF. Caspases (cysteinyl aspartate proteases) are involved in the signaling pathways of apoptosis, necrosis and inflammation. These enzymes can be divided into initiators and effectors. The initiator isoforms are activated by, and interact with, upstream adaptor molecules. Anti-Caspase 12 Antibody is useful for researchers interested in Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), ATP synthesis, and Apoptosis research.
