-
Purpose
- Anti-FcRn [h22-0015], Rabbit IgG, kappa
-
Specificity
- The antibody is specific for human FcRn. The neonatal Fc receptor is a cell surface receptor that transfers passive humoral immunity from the mother to the newborn.
-
Characteristics
-
Original Species of Ab: Mouse
Original Format of Ab: IgG1
-
Purification
- Protein A affinity purified
-
Immunogen
- The original antibody was generated by immunizing Balb/c mice with recombinant FcRn.
-
Isotype
- IgG kappa

Application Notes
- The antibody was employed in blocking experiments with HEK293 cells that overexpress FcRn. The results showed that the antibody has a good effect of blocking the binding of IgG to FcRn at the cellular level (IC50: 11.4nM). The effect of the antibody was tested in human FcRn transgenic mice. The antibody was able to increase IgG catabolism in vivo by blocking FcRn binding (CN113484526).

Comment
-
This chimeric rabbit antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Mouse IgG1 format for improved compatibility with existing reagents assays and techniques.
