SynCam1 is a cell adhesion molecule involved in many cell processes including the mediation of cell-cell adhesion and assembly, neuronal migration axon growth and differentiation. SynCAM1 is expressed in many tissue types including, brain, lung, kidney, heart, spleen and liver.
