Background

Synonyms: E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase RNF169, RING finger protein 169, RING-type E3 ubiquitin transferase RNF169, RNF169, KIAA1991
Tissue Specificity: Expressed in immature but not mature T-cells. Also found in CD34+ cells from peripheral blood, CD34+ precursors from umbilical cord blood and adult bone marrow.
Background: Oxoeicosanoid receptor 1 (OXER1) also known as G-protein coupled receptor 170 (GPR170) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the OXER1 gene located on human chromosome 2p21, it is the principal receptor for the 5-Hydroxyicosatetraenoic acid family of carboxy fatty acid metabolites derived from arachidonic acid. Enables G protein-coupled receptor activity and icosanoid binding activity. Involved in adenylate cyclase-inhibiting G protein-coupled receptor signaling pathway. Predicted to be located in plasma membrane.
