    Specificity

    Anti-Trichomonas vaginalis (Clone TV-5138) is specific for Trichomonas vaginalis. Antigen Trichomonas vaginalis Background Trichomonas vaginalis is a protozoan parasite that causes Trichomoniasis, a common STI. Infection is more common in women than men and only approximately 30 % of those infected will have symptoms.
