Specificity
- Reacts with the mouse PKCz (~70kD) and PKMz (~55kD) proteins. The brain-specific isoform of this protein (PKMz) may appear as a doublet at ~55kD in western blots of brain homogenates. In mouse kidney homogenate, it identifies the band at ~70kD. Reactivity has been confirmed with mouse kidney and brain homogenates.
