Product Details anti-GP120 Antibody

Specificity: This antibody reacts with HIV-1 gp120. gp120 binds to overlapping sites in the CDR2-like region in the CD4 domain 1. The interaction between CD4 and gp 120 is needed for viral infection, but this interaction will not allow viral entry into cells.

Purification: Concentrated. Purified from concentrated cell culture medium on Protein A column. This purified mouse immunoglobulin IgG1 contains approx. 10-20% bovine IgG.

Immunogen: HIV-1 infected human cells.

Application Notes: Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:100 on frozen tissue sections only.
Staining Procedure: This antibody can be used on frozen tissue sections. The antibody may be used at a dilution of 1:50-1:50-100 in IHC. The optimal conditions should be determined by the individual laboratory.
