Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin-embedded Sections) (IHC (p)), Immunohistochemistry (Frozen Sections) (IHC (fro))
  • Specificity

This antibody reacts with human S100 protein, a neural antigen.

    Purification

    Concentrated.

    Immunogen

    Purified Bovine S100 protein.
  • Application Notes

    IHC: 1:100-1:200.
Staining Procedure: This antibody can be used on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections. Prolonged fixation in buffered formalin can destroy the epitope. The antibody may be used at a dilution of 1:100 to 1:200 in IHC. It is recommended that this product be used on frozen tissue sections or specimens. The optimal conditions should be determined by the individual laboratory. The recommended diluting buffer is: 50 mM phosphate buffer, 150 mM sodium chloride, 1% EIA grade bovine serum albumin (BSA), pH 7.2.
