The Mouse Monoclonal anti-FGFR1b antibody (Clone M17A3) (ABIN2961626) specifically detects FGFR1b in IP, IHC and WB.
The antibody is reactive with Human samples.
Immunoprecipitation (IP), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western Blotting (WB)
Clone
M17A3
Binding Specificity
Ectodomain, Pro23
Specificity
Reacts with human Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor 1 beta (FGFR1β). Epitope is undetermined but presumed to be near junction of the common FGFr1 NH2-terminus and NH2-terminus of Ig loop II.
Purification
Purified (protein G)
Immunogen
Recombinant human ectodomain of FGFr1beta expressed in E. coli beginning with pro23, antigen contained NH2-terminal gly-ser-pro-gly-ile and COOH-terminal glu-phe sequences.
Isotype
IgG2b
Application Notes
Working dilution: Optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. The following are guidelines only : WB(1 μg/mL)
Restrictions
For Research Use only
Buffer
PBS, pH 7.4.
Handling Advice
Dilute in PBS or medium that is identical to that used in the assay system.
Storage
-20 °C/-80 °C
Storage Comment
Stable for at least one year at -20°C to -70°C. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor 1 (FGFR1) is a member of the fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR) family, where amino acid sequence is highly conserved between members and throughout evolution. This protein is a Tyrosine-protein kinase that acts as cell-surface receptor for fibroblast growth factors and plays an essential role in the regulation of embryonic development, cell proliferation, differentiation and migration.
