Apolipoprotein B mRNA Editing Enzyme, Catalytic Polypeptide-Like 3A (APOBEC3A) Peptide

APOBEC3A Reactivity: Human Host: Synthetic BP, BI
Catalog No. ABIN5686010

Quick Overview for Apolipoprotein B mRNA Editing Enzyme, Catalytic Polypeptide-Like 3A (APOBEC3A) Peptide (ABIN5686010)

Target

APOBEC3A (Apolipoprotein B mRNA Editing Enzyme, Catalytic Polypeptide-Like 3A (APOBEC3A))

Origin

Human

Source

  • 3
Synthetic

Application

Blocking Peptide (BP), BioImaging (BI)
  • Characteristics

APOBEC3A peptide corresponds to 14 amino acids of APOBEC3A.
  • Application Notes

APOBEC3A Peptide is used for blocking the activity of APOBEC3A antibody . The APOBEC3A antibody ships at 0.5 mg/mL and the APOBEC3A Peptide ships as a 100 μg pellet. When peptide is reconstituted in 200 μLwater, the concentration will be 0.5 mg/mL, identical to that of the antibody. The best starting ratio would be 1:1 (which means molar excess of peptide relative to antibody when identical volumes are mixed). Mix equal volume of peptide and antibody at the required dilution and leave at ambient temperature for 20 minutes. Then incubate and develop in parallel two blots: one with the antibody and one with the antibody which has been pre-absorbed with the provided peptide.

    Restrictions

    For Research Use only
  • Format
