    Characteristics
A synthetic peptide for use as a blocking control in assays to test for specificity of MFRP antibody,
Alternative Names: MFRP control peptide, MFRP antibody Blocking Peptide, Anti-MFRP Blocking Peptide, Membrane Frizzled-Related Protein Blocking Peptide, FLJ30570 Blocking Peptide, NNO2 Blocking Peptide, rd6 Blocking Peptide
    Purification
Rabbit Anti-Akt (Phospho-Ser473) Polyclonal Antibody is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide is removed by chromatogramphy using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.

  • Target
    MFRP (Membrane Frizzled-Related Protein (MFRP))
    Background
MFRP is a member of the frizzled-related proteins. It may play a role in eye development, as mutations in this gene have been associated with nanophthalmos, posterior microphthalmia, retinitis pigmentosa, foveoschisis, and optic disc drusen. The protein is encoded by a bicistronic mRNA, which also encodes C1q and tumor necrosis factor related protein 5.
    Molecular Weight
    62 kDa
