MICA Reactivity: Mammalian Host: Synthetic BP, WB, IHC
Catalog No. ABIN940415

Quick Overview for MHC Class I Polypeptide-Related Sequence A (MICA) Peptide (ABIN940415)

Target

MICA (MHC Class I Polypeptide-Related Sequence A (MICA))

Origin

Mammalian

Source

  • 5
Synthetic

Application

Blocking Peptide (BP), Western Blotting (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
  • Peptide Type

    Synthetic

    Sequence

    LHSLQEIRVC EIHEDNSTRS SQHFYYDGEL FLSQNLETKE WTMPQSSRAQ

    Characteristics

A synthetic peptide for use as a blocking control in assays to test for specificity of MICA antibody,
Alternative Names: MICA control peptide, MICA antibody Blocking Peptide, Anti-MICA Blocking Peptide, Mhc Class I Polypeptide-Related Sequence A Blocking Peptide, MGC111087 Blocking Peptide, PERB11.1 Blocking Peptide

    Purification

The antibody is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide is removed by chromatography using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.
  • Application Notes

Optimal conditions should be determined by the investigator

  • Format

    Lyophilized

    Reconstitution

Add 100 µL of distilled water for a final peptide concentration is 1 mg/mL.

    Buffer

    PBS

    Handling Advice

    Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

    Storage

    -20 °C

    Storage Comment

Store at -20 °C long term.
  • Target

MICA (MHC Class I Polypeptide-Related Sequence A (MICA))

    Background

MICA is expressed on the cell surface, although unlike canonical class I molecules does not seem to associate with beta-2-microglobulin. It is thought that MICA functions as a stress-induced antigen that is broadly recognised by intestinal epithelial gamma delta T cells.

    Molecular Weight

    43 kDa
