Blocking Peptide (BP), Western Blotting (WB)
    Characteristics
This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-HSPE1 antibody (Catalog #: ARP54651_P050). It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications.

  • Target
    HSPE1 (Heat Shock 10kDa Protein 1 (Chaperonin 10) (HSPE1))
    Background
HSPE1 is a major heat shock protein which functions as a chaperonin. Its structure consists of a heptameric ring which binds to another heat shock protein in order to form a symmetric, functional heterodimer which enhances protein folding in an ATP-dependent manner.
