Quick Overview for Proline Transporter antibody (C-Term) (ABIN6737392)

Target

Proline Transporter

Reactivity

Rat, Human

Host

Rabbit

Clonality

Polyclonal

Application

ELISA, Western Blotting (WB), Immunoprecipitation (IP)
  • Binding Specificity

    C-Term

    Specificity

The 24-aa rat peptide used in this study shows 100 % homology with the human transporter. Antibodies made to this epitope have been shown to cross-react with human Proline transporter. Actual cross-reactivity of antibodies in all species is not established.

    Purification

    Immunoaffinity purified

    Immunogen

A 24 AA peptide, near the C-terminal, cytoplasmic domain was synthesized, coupled to KLH.

    Type of Immunogen: Synthetic peptide

    Isotype

    IgG
  • Application Notes

    Approved: ELISA (1:100000), IP, WB (1:1000 - 1:5000)

Usage: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation. Western Blot: 1:1000-1:5000 for neat serum and 1-10 μg/mL for affinity pure using ECL. An antibody raised against this epitope has been shown to recognize a ~68kD band in rat and human brain. Deglycosylation reduces the MW to approx. 53kD. ELISA (1:100K using 50-100 ng PROL11 control peptide/well. Immunoprecipitations We recommend the use of affinity pure antibodies at 2-10 μg affinity pure antibody.
