    Restrictions

    For Research Use only
  • Format

    Lyophilized

    Buffer

Bovine serum albumin, fraction IV, lyophilized from a salt free solution.

    Preservative

    Without preservative

    Storage

    4 °C/-20 °C

    Storage Comment

This product is shipped lyophilized at ambient temperature. After arrival store at +4°C. Prolonged storage may be at -20°C. Solutions may be prepared by adding PBS (pH 7.2). Allow to stand at ambient temperature for 5-10 minutes to reach equilibrium. Solutions may be stored frozen. Working dilutions may be prepared by adding the required amount of phosphate buffered saline (PBS), should not be refrozen and preferably used within 24 hours. Repeated thawing and freezing should be avoided. If a slight precipitation occurs upon storage, this should be removed by centrifugation and will not affect the performance of the product.
  • Target

    Albumin (ALB)

    Alternative Name

    Serum Albumin

    Background

Identity and purity is confirmed by immunoelectrophoresis and double radial immuno-diffusion (Ouchterlony) using antisera to bovine total serum proteins, to bovine IgA, IgM and albumin
