Reconstitution: Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water. It is recommended to resuspend at 0.5 mg/mL if the lyophilized powder is 100 μg or less, at 1 mg/mL for 500 μg or 1 mg lyophilized powder. Do not mix by vortex or vigorous shaking.

Buffer: Lyophilized from 0.22μm filtered solution in PBS ( pH 7.4). Normally 8 % trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.

Target: GARP & Latent TGF beta 2 Complex

Background: GARP&Latent TGF Beta is a complex found on surface of many types of cells. In Tregs, GARP is involved in TCR-mediated activation of Latent TGF-β and thus promoting secretion and activation of TGF-β. Integrin αvβ8 on the surface of immune cells and other cells recognizes RGD in LAP, resulting in the release of mature TGF-β from the TGF-β&GARP complex.

Molecular Weight: 70.3 kDa (GARP) and 45.53 kDa (Latent TGF Beta 2). Due to enzyme lysis and glycosylation, the protein migrates to 72-77 kDa (GARP), 13 kDa and 46-48 kDa (Latent TGF Beta 2) based on Bis-Tris PAGE result.
