ELISA, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western Blotting (WB)
    Supplier Product No.
    610-103-430
    Supplier
    Rockland
    Purpose
Mouse IgG IgA IgM (H&L) Antibody Peroxidase Conjugated Pre-Adsorbed
    Cross-Reactivity (Details)
Minimal crossreactivity against Bv, Hs, Hu Serum Proteins Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Peroxidase and anti-Goat Serum. No reaction was observed against bovine, horse or human serum proteins.  This reagent is suitable for the detection of all Mouse immunoglobulin isotypes and chain combinations.
    Characteristics
Anti-Mouse IgG IgA and IgM whole molecule antibody generated in goat detects specifically Mouse IgG IgA and IgM whole molecule. This secondary antibody anti-Mouse is ideal for investigators who routinely perform ELISA, Sandwich ELISA, titration assays, western-blot, immunoprecipitation and more generally immunoassays.
    Purification
This product was prepared from polyspecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using Mouse antigens coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities.
    Immunogen
Optional[Immunogen]: Mouse IgG IgA and IgM whole molecule
    Isotype
    IgG
  • Application Notes

    Background
Immunoglobulin M is the largest antibody isotype and the first to be secreted against an initial exposure to antigen. IgM is predominantly produced in the spleen. Formed from covalently linking 5 immunoglobulins together. Secondary Antibodies are available in a variety of formats and conjugate types. When choosing a secondary antibody product, consideration must be given to species and immunoglobulin specificity, conjugate type, fragment and chain specificity, level of cross-reactivity, and host-species source and fragment composition.
