ELISA, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western Blotting (WB), Dot Blot (DB)
    Supplier Product No.
    201-1102
    Supplier
    Rockland
    Purpose
    Bovine IgG (H&L) Antibody
    Cross-Reactivity (Details)
Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Goat Serum, Bovine IgG and Bovine Serum.
    Characteristics
Sodium/potassium-transporting ATPase subunit alpha-1 is the catalytic component of the active enzyme, which catalyzes the hydrolysis of ATP coupled with the exchange of sodium and potassium ions across the plasma membrane. This action creates the electrochemical gradient of sodium and potassium ions, providing the energy for active transport of various nutrients.
    Purification
This product is an IgG fraction antibody purified from monospecific antiserum by a multi-step process which includes delipidation, salt fractionation and ion exchange chromatography followed by extensive dialysis against the buffer stated above.
    Immunogen
    Optional[Immunogen]: Bovine IgG whole molecule
    Isotype
    IgG

    Target Type
    Antibody
    Background
Secreted as part of the adaptive immune response by plasma B cells, immunoglobulin G constitutes 75 % of serum immunoglobulins. Immunoglobulin G binds to viruses, bacteria, as well as fungi and facilitates their destruction or neutralization via agglutination (and thereby immobilizing them), activation of the compliment cascade, and opsonization for phagocytosis. This product possesses the F(ab) region possessing the epitope-recognition site, both heavy and light chains of the antibody molecule are present.
