Application Notes
- Application Note: Anti-Bovine IgG Peroxidase Conjugated antibody has been tested by ELISA and is assayed against 1.0 μg of Bovine IgG in a standard capture ELISA using ABTS (2,2'-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid]) as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A working dilution of 1:1,000 to 1:5,000 of the reconstitution concentration is suggested for this product. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Immunohistochemistry Dilution: 1:500 - 1:2,500 ELISA Dilution: 1:10,000 - 1:50,000 Other: User Optimized

Background
- Secreted as part of the adaptive immune response by plasma B cells, immunoglobulin G constitutes 75 % of serum immunoglobulins. Immunoglobulin G binds to viruses, bacteria, as well as fungi and facilitates their destruction or neutralization via agglutination (and thereby immobilizing them), activation of the compliment cascade, and opsonization for phagocytosis. This product possesses the F(ab) region possessing the epitope-recognition site, both heavy and light chains of the antibody molecule are present.
