    Rockland
    Purpose
    Human IgG Fc Antibody
    Cross-Reactivity (Details)
Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Goat Serum, Human IgG, Human IgG F(c) and Human Serum.  No reaction was observed against Human IgG F(ab).
    Characteristics
Anti-Human IgG (H&L) generated in goat detects human Immunoglobulin G (IgG), both heavy and light chains of the antibody molecule are present.
    Purification
Anti-Human IgG F(c) Antibody was prepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using Human IgG coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities.
    Sterility
    Sterile filtered
    Immunogen
    Optional[Immunogen]: Human IgG F(c) fragment
    Isotype
    IgG
  • Application Notes
Application Note: Goat Anti-Human IgG F(c) Antibody has been tested by ELISA and dot blot and is suitable for western blot, immunohistochemistry, or immunoassays where specificity to the immunoglobulin Fc region is desired. Optimal concentrations in immunoassays should be determined by the researcher. Background
Receptors bind the Fc portion of human IgG and often this fragment is removed from immunoglobulins to minimize receptor binding and lower background reactivity. Secondary Antibodies are available in a variety of formats and conjugate types. When choosing a secondary antibody product, consideration must be given to species and immunoglobulin specificity, conjugate type, fragment and chain specificity, level of cross-reactivity, and host-species source and fragment composition. F(c) Antibody is ideal for investigators who routinely perform flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry or IHC and other immunoassays.
