    Purpose

Rabbit IgM (mu) Antibody Peroxidase Conjugated

    Cross-Reactivity (Details)

Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Peroxidase, anti-Goat Serum, Rabbit IgM and Rabbit Serum. No reaction was observed against Rabbit IgG.

    Characteristics

Anti-Rabbit IgM mu chain antibody raised in goat specifically detects rabbit IgM heavy chain.

    Purification

This product is an IgG fraction antibody purified from monospecific antiserum by a multi-step process which includes delipidation, salt fractionation and ion exchange chromatography followed by cross adsorption to remove any unwanted reactivities and extensive dialysis against the buffer stated above.

    Immunogen

Immunogen: Anti-Rabbit IgM (mu) was produced by repeated immunization with rabbit IgM mu heavy chain in goat.

    Immunogen Type: Native Protein

  • Application Notes

Application Note: Rabbit IgM (mu) peroxidase conjugated antibody has been tested by ELISA and is assayed against 1.0 μg of Rabbit IgM in a standard capture ELISA using ABTS (2,2'-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid]) code # ABTS-100 as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature.  A working dilution of 1:10,000 to 1:40,000 of the reconstitution concentration is suggested for this product. Immunohistochemistry Dilution: 1:500 - 1:2,500 Western Blot Dilution: 1:1,000 - 1:10,000 ELISA Dilution: 1:20,000 Other: User Optimized

    Background

Anti-Rabbit IgM (mu) peroxidase conjugated antibody generated in goat detects specifically rabbit IgM (mu). This secondary peroxidase conjugated antibody anti-Rabbit is ideal for investigators who routinely perform titration assays, western-blot, immunoprecipitation and more generally immunoassays.
