    Purification

    Affinity Purified

Preadsorption: Antibody was solid phase adsorbed using human and mouse immunosorbents to remove cross reactive antibody. Specific antibody was immunoaffinity purified off a rabbit IgG containing immunosorbent.

    Immunogen

Chickens were immunized with highly purified rabbit IgG h+l and eggs were collected. Antibody concentration was determined using an absorbance at 280 nm: 1.32 equals 1.0 mg of IgY.
  • Application Notes

This antibody will react with rabbit IgG and with light chains common to other rabbit immunoglobulins. It has less than 1 % cross reactivity with human and mouse IgG as determined by ELISA and IEP techniques. This antibody is suitable for blotting, ELISA and IHC applications. This antibody may cross react with IgG from other species. Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator.
